We started this monthly event to have a place to talk about things. Stuff. Issues. We focused at first on relationships: friends, romance, family, work and after that we went anywhere the Spirit took us: churches, denominations, the Bible, the meaning of life. Ha! Come and join us. There are food outlets nearby, so grab something on the way. We might have snacks.
Michael Wear, friend, family guy, founder and CEO of Center for Christianity & Public Life will help us understand what it means to contend for the credibility of Christian resources in public life, for the public good. That’s big.
Money has a unique power in our lives. The topic itself can feel taboo or shameful. On one hand, we don’t feel like we have enough. On the other, it feels like we don’t steward what we do have well at all. We need wisdom and places to talk about money.
On Tuesday, November 14 from 7:30-9pm, Restoration and Nav20s30s are hosting an event called “Thinking Wisely about Finances.”

Unintentional singleness within Christian circles has been a difficult topic for some years, especially in a large, diverse city like DC. What’s God’s take on our dating lives? What does He have in mind, anyway? We don’t have all the answers but we do have thoughts on it all. Come on and let’s talk.
Join us on Saturday, September 16th from 6pm–9pm in Arlington, VA for a young adult cookout hosted by Restoration and Nav20s30s DC! Bring your friends and come ready to make new ones. There will be good food and drink, music, and fun. No need to bring anything but yourself.
Questions? Email anne.cregger@navigators.org or there’s room for questions on the RSVP.

This is the story of my friendship with my transgender neighbor and what God did in that person’s life. It’s a glimpse behind the curtain of how our Creator gives us assignments and then weaves together the plan He has in mind.and all we have to do is show up for the privilege of watching Him move. It’s a testimony of how He generously equips the body of believers to participate in His work through listening, prayer and praise. It’s also the legacy of a brave soul who wrestled with questions of faith and identity and emerged triumphant on the other side.
Canceled! We’re sorry to miss our brunch with Joel Woodruff, but he’s agreed to come in May.

That’s right. We all want to know what’s next. What should I prepare for? Is that one Big Thing ever going to happen? These questions are always out there, at least they have been for me. Let’s talk about it.
