It's Black History Month! Brunch with Patriece and Connally

Seeing & Celebrating the Other

Patriece Johnson, on the right above, has faithfully served with the Navigators for over 25 years.  She and her husband, Dex, ministered to military men and women for many years.  In 2020, Patriece and her family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to serve with the Navigators in the city.  She currently serves as the City Director for the Cincinnati Navigators.  Patriece enjoys partnering in ministry with her husband and spending quality time with their three teenaged children.

Connally Gilliam holds both a BA and MT in English from the University of Virginia and her MA in Theological Studies from Regent College (Vancouver, BC), where she served on the Board of Governors for nine years.

Serving with the US Navigators for 20 years, her primary contributions have been speaking, writing and mentoring; Connally brings the light of Jesus Christ – especially to the confusing questions surrounding singleness, sexuality, gender, loss and race. See Connally’s website for more.

She is the author of “Revelations of a Single Woman: loving the life I didn’t expect” (Tyndale, 2006), and co-author, with Paula Rinehart of “And Yet, Undaunted: Embraced by the Goodness of God in the Chaos of Life” (NavPress, 2019).

She enjoys hanging with her large extended family in Charlottesville, mentoring the younger ones, ready or not. They love her.
