Life is always asking us to make decisions. Some are huge, and they usually don't come with an option for re-do. Some don't seem to have a clear right or wrong; good or bad. Do I leave my work and go to grad school? Where? Which program? Is now the time to move? Is this the person I should marry? When? Which job offer should I take? What will happen if I do? What if I don't?
We’ll be at Restoration Anglican Church
1815 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22207
There is street parking, come around to the back. We'll provide snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring your dinner. Depending on numbers, weather and cicadas, we'll either be in the back yard with the fire pits or under the tent or in the Big Room right there with the windows open. Bring masks!
Hope you can come!
Nathan Dickerson, Associate Rector at Arlington Anglican, and our dear friend, Grace Jan, will guide our conversation this time.
Nathan Dickerson has been the Associate Rector at Restoration Anglican Church since 2015. He is gifted at working with people in their young adulthood in the area of life decisions; he knows choices loom large in these seasons of transition. He lives in Arlington with his wife, Stephanie, and their three daughters.
Grace Jan has been a member of our faith community from the beginning in 2012. She serves God’s Kingdom as an art conservator for the Freer and Sackler Galleries at Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art and has navigated many complicated decisions involving vocation, close relationships, and cultural adaptations--- and because God’s in charge of each part of it, it’s all spiritual. She lives in Clarendon with her husband, Danny Lee, and their two young sons.
