Nan Swift knows all about failure--big, small, long, short...the things that work out, the things that haven't worked out (yet!), the things we just don't know.
She is also a Resident Fellow with a free market think tank where she thinks thoughts about things like the federal debt, budget process, misaligned incentives, and all kinds of subsidies. Nan has worked on Capitol Hill, she's been a lobbyist, a grassroots organizer, a nanny, a cook, a camp counselor, even a guide/caretaker for a museum about the steel industry (zero visitors and mushrooms grew from the rafters).
Nan grew up outside Williamsport, PA and ventured far afield to Gordon College (Wenham, MA) where she graduated with degrees in Political Studies and English Literature. She lives in North Arlington with two cats, Charlie--who has no tail--and Bertie--who makes up for Charlie's lack of tail with extra toes.
What’s up with the grapes? You’ll need to attend to discover that.
