Julie Heiliger is a Christ-follower, a wife, and a mom of a very energetic eleven-year-old. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys being active through running and playing volleyball. Julie co-leads The Navigator’s Neighbors ministry, building local outreach strategies that develop practical ways for believers to love those living in their immediate neighborhoods. She coaches both ministry and lay leaders to help them strengthen their discipleship and mission foundations. Julie graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Washington Bible College and a M.A. in Youth and Family Counseling from Capital Bible Seminary. She has been serving with The Navigators for 24 years. For twelve of those years, she focused on discipling high school students and training volunteers to do the same. She is also the co-author of Finding Home: Exploring God’s Dream in Our Neighborhoods, a guide to equip everyday people to minister to those in their community.
