May 2018 Second Saturday Brunch

  • Anne's House Arlington, VA 22207 USA (map)

This is the last brunch of this year! There will be no more until September. (There will be other things going on this summer, however!)

Nan Swift will speak about Exploring Misery for Fun and Profit. Nan is the Director of Government Affairs at the National Taxpayers Union. She attends Restoration Anglican Church and has lived in the area for 12 years, so far Nan attended Gordon College, majoring in English Literature and Political Science. She grew up in Williamsport, PA, where her parents were camp directors for most of her formative years. Her two brothers are currently the Director and Program Director at the camp, making Nan the black sheep who left camping ministry for the only possible career more exasperating: politics. Her time in DC, love of the outdoors, and past cooking career all make her an expert on the topic of misery.
